I had some old henna in the fridge so two nights ago I hennaed one of my daughters hands, the following night I did her other. The stain is not very dark because the henna was old, but it was fun!

So pretty. Henna looks like fun, maybe I'll take that on once I feel more comfortable in the FP world.

I'm pretty much clueless about henna....do you do those designs freehand? And how long does a design like that take? It's really beautiful!!! flower

Yep, it's freehand, but I have pattern books to go by.
I have found that it's finding a starting point and building off that to make the design.

YAY Linda! Good job and I'm glad you liked the book! That one is a popular design. I think of all the books I've done, Mehndi Masala was my favorite to create! I'm glad you've gotten use of it!!!

You should try the pattern on page 22! VERY popular and looks great but not too tough to do. Great impact with not too much effort. 3 different artists used it as the 'guest artist' submission!
