New Website!

I am so excited. I have been jumping around from free website to free web site. I have found a couple that I like but none that really hit me. I started with webs and they kept having tech problem. Then I went to weebly and liked their free choices a lot better, they didn't look as cheesy. Well the editor with weebly would always seem to have issues. It wouldn't change text color and text on certain things ect. So last night I went on the search again. Now here is my new one. It is with WIX and I actually really like it. It is just what I was looking for. Cheack it out please and tell me what you all Like/dont like about it. It is live but I did it at like 1am so I need to go back through and edit it.www.UnforgettableEvenings.com

I have a wix website as well but my address is crazy.

The only downfall about wix is how slow it loads.

It looks great. I may try WIX. Right now I have Microsoft Office Live and there is only so much fun stuff you can do unless you know all kinds of stuff about CSS codes. I don't know that much about web design.

I know nothing about CSS or web design it all gives me a headache. I wasn't sure if it was just slow on my comp or in general. my internet sucks and is very very slow

If you buy a domain name, you can have it forward to your Wix website and maintain the domain name listing. The only downfall with that is if you have multiple pages, if someone wants to bookmark a specific page, it will always take them back to the homepage as it cannot distinguish the difference (if that makes sense). But it is definitely more professional that way, and the domain names are usually only around $10 each per year.

The site looks great! I would change the wording around a bit to make it easier to read. "Don’t just have an ordinary event have an unforgettable one with Unforgettable Evenings." instead, maybe: Why have just an ordinary event when you can have an unforgettable event with Unforgettable Evenings? Otherwise, as you have it, it should be two sentences, or a comma between the two (...sorry, professional editor/proofreader in me.. if you want more, let me know and I'll go through the site).

I'm so duh about websites etc, hence why I don't have one. I would love one. Thanks so much for sharing your info with us. I will check out WIX & see if I can figure it out.

Great work at getting your site done so fast! It's a real stumbling block for a lot of people.
I sent you a message from your 'contact' page to help you could test that out. For some reason as I typed in the text it went all multi-coloured text and hard to see what I was typing. I've never seen that before. Might want to check that out.

Michelle, Great site, Easy Navigation, (my pet peeve, when you go to the home page and it asks you if you want to enter the site - YES I WANT to enter or I wouldn't be here ), Fun and Bright, All questions Answered, Just enough samples of your work - BTW, are you the tiger? Great job, was this a template? Who does your hosting? I have done the websites for my last four businesses myself and maybe its time to use one of the less time consuming ways for my face painting website. I am sick and tired of reading and writing html....GREAT JOB!

HTML is a B*tch. lol. Just thinking about it gives me a head ache. i have a friend who can just blow it out and it is mind boggling. I commend you. Wish I knew more about it. This site is through Wix. I really liked their templates and they have a some more designing options that webs or weebly. I was very pleased. I know nothing about computers so I was pretty happy how nice it looked. My domain name is through GoDaddy. So does it ask you if you want to enter my site? i will have to look into that, it has not done it to me yet. Oh and the Tiger is me Thanks
