*NEW - 48 hr Challenge* 16th -23rd Nov

This time, our competition is over two months, so with Metina's agreement, I'm going to start up a new type of competiton. This will be a week long challenge.

I'll start it off by giving a quick description of what I've tried to paint on myself, I'll describe it, then it's up to you to read what I've wrote and create your own design!

THERE IS NO RIGHT AND WRONG PAINTINGS!!! This is a great way for newbies who don't want to post in the larger competitions can join in, as this isnt going to be as tough.

After 1 week, I'll post my original picture that I painted, and then it's the one that I deem the closest that'll win. Maybe not in the same make of colour ie neon/metallic/pale, or even the shapes might be slightly out, I didnt give much shaping on this one!

That person will then paint a face/other body part and describe what theyve done, and people have to try and create a similar design. This is about learning news skills and picking up on ways of challenging yourself, learning terms etc.

I'll start then

I painted:
a mask, covering both eyelids, not the nose and the inbetween brow area or forehead. It does go onto my cheeks though.

using colours:
Pink, yellow, purple, white and black.

It has a solid colour on the eyelids, fading into a new colour on the outside. I put some outines in another colour, then some swirls in another colour, and teardrops in another colour again.

The plan is to be as creative as possible. It doesnt matter whether or not I used glitter, or whether or not you did, as not everyone will have the same kits, and in the same way, I may have the snaz pink which is pale, and others may use a neon pink etc! Its about envision, thats all!

Kids will ask you for something like this, off the cuff, and you have to envision their ideas.

Lets get lots of newbies joining in. Its not about how amazing your linework is, or your blending... it's about being able to envision things the same as others, and having fun too!!!
