I had a gig today at a rugby club fundraiser - and I'm pretty sure I brought half of the rugby pitch back with me, lol. My trunk is lined, (phew) so no mud on the 'carpet,' and I gave it a wipe down before bringing my kit back into the house.

Most of the time we won't be trekking through the mud anyway, but even with it just being wet outside, I've been rolling leaves back home. Last year I only used the top part of my kit (why and how, I don't even know), so didn't have to worry, but this year I'm rolling it around everywhere, and so I want to know:

What do you do about keeping the outside rolling in, to a minimum, at other people's houses?! I'm not worried about halls and events in community spaces, etc, but people's living quarters? Something tells me they wouldn't appreciate mud streaked tires on their carpet Razz

I generally just try to stay on the pavement as much as possible... there's only so much I can do since I'm not taking off my clown sneakers either. I guess if it were really bad, I'd ask them if there were a towel or something I could wipe everything down when I came in the door.

I have wood floors, so it's pretty easy to clean up. We have sand everywhere here in Florida. You could put a mat down under you & your kit while you paint. They have them at Big Lots for going under weight sets & look like 4 big puzzle pieces.

Mine rolls BUT I carry it upstairs and in houses. It is heavy but not too heavy for me to carry.

If it is muddy, wet, etc. I just carry it from the car.

If the wheels are dirty when I get home I wash them before putting it away.
