I did a bunch of puppies the other day and they just didn't come out as cute as I would have liked. I'd love to see any examples of cute puppy faces without sponging all over the face.

Here's a video I did on a fast and easy puppy face. Although I did this design with Starblend white in the video, I've just been using white paint and a chisel brush for the base lately and it seems to work better. Hope it helps! Smile

Deleena, that one of yours is one of my favourite puppies, I found it just before our big job in October and I tried to remember and imitate those ears whenever I was asked to do one!! I can never get the shading right though.

Thanks!!. The ears are what made me want to paint this one. So darn cute! As for the shading....i don't always do the shading if I am busy but it still looks pretty good. Thanks for posting it. I have a few versions for puppies. You said you didn't want to paint their whole face, is that because you don't like the way yours turned out doing that or you don't want the design so big?
