are your paints loose in there or do you secure them down somehow?

Very sharp looking and convenient! I got Metina's bag too - not really using it yet as I'm still practicing - but it gives me inspiration hanging on the wall. The prize as it were! LOL!

Very cool! I would ask what you meant with the "stiffy". The bag does come with a solid plastic insert for the bottom. Did you not feel like this wasn't stiff enough. My main reason for asking is I want to make sure your insert was including or that you realized it was there. I normally will slide this insert into the front pocket for shipping.

Please let me know so that if there is some confusion with the insert and where to put it, I can clarify for the future. Thanks!

Metina- Oops!! I checked my face painting "area" and I found the plastic stiffy! Thanks for letting me know I was missing it - I'll change that in the blog.

Even with the bag full of my heavier stuff, the bottom does not sag!

Jenny - Yes, the case opens up almost completely flat. You'll get to see

JBax - My stuff isn't fastened to the case. When I stuff everything together inside the case along with my brush easel and my hand towel, there is no movement when I pick the case up and jiggle it. I might end up putting a black towel underneath the pots and palettes though for drips and runs.

A mate of mine gave me a tag neon rainbow cake because she had used up my one on a gig. I feel guilty because the TAG one is waaaay better than the one I had. I'm about to scour the net to see where I can get TAG paints, I'm really impressed with them. Where did you get yours?

I was holding off on this announcement until I had the product in hand, but TAG will be coming to the forum shop in the next couple of weeks. I placed a huge order yesterday including many of the rainbow cakes. There are a few things they didn't have in stock, but I got most of it. Will keep you all posted!

Oh neat! I've been wanting to try out TAG as well so this is great news, Metina!

And Michelle - love your setup, very compact! Gives me lots of ideas - I want a second, smaller kit for birthday parties and events where the FatMax isn't necessary.

I can't wait for the TAG as well. I will need to place a new order soon and will be trying it out.

Yeahhhh for Metina!!! You must have been reading our minds. I am on a
quest to find which black and white paint reigns supreme for line work, and I have yet to try tag.......plus I thought I saw an all metallic rainbow cake from them as well....I bet that's pretty

I love my Tag split cakes. The green one for snakes/dragons is so vivid - I love the colors. I just placed an order - too bad it can't wait ... guess I'll be ordering again in a few weeks!

I have tried whites by Snaz, Paradise, Kryolan Aqua, Wolfe/DFX, Ben Nye and Mehron liquid, and I LOVE the Wolfe/DFX/Tag white (they are all the same - made in the same plant and each company slaps their logo on the containers and there ya go). The white goes on so much smoother than anything else I've tried and the white stays white for the most part on top of other colors. I used to think that it was ME when I tried swirls and tear drops and struggled. Then I thought it was the brushes. Turns out it was the paint!
