Here's a quick cheat:

Zeus: God of the sky, controls weather...sorta...lightening bolt
Poseidon: God of Sea (Zeus's bro), also creator of horses...trident
Hades: God of the underworld (brother to Zeus and Poseidon)...pretty explanetory...underworld...Hades.
Athena: Goddess of war and strategy. I couldn't even begin to point you in the right direction
Apollo: God of the Sun
Aphrodite: Goddess of Love (supposedly Apollo's sister...but they are all related...incest is best I guess)
Hermes: Guardian of travelers, God of thieves and messenger to the gods. That FTD flower delivery icon is inspired by his myth.

There's more, but I've already botched up enough already.

WoW! I've only been gone for 2 days & this thread has taken off! Thank you face painters(I always want to say ladies... but we have a few gents on here too). I've been face painting like a fiend for 2 days straight & will be picking it up again in a few hours!

I didn't see the last days results either (heheh - Metina got me my order and of course I have been playing with my new paints) - wow!!!!!! Everyone is so amazing. I wondered how Izzy was going to pull off that ballerina! And of course the haunted houses and the greek gods - from a face painting perspective - positively lustworthy :-)
