Hi! Yet another Aussie!!
Hi everyone... I thought that I would stop lurking and introduce myself.
My name is Tabitha and Im from Australias National Capital (no not Sydney ) Canberra. During the week I am a full-time graphic designer and on weekends I facepaint for a childrens entertainment company. Sitting in front of a computer all week gets stale and this is always fun!!!
I started f/p at the begining of december last year, and was thrown in the deep end for my first shift at a shopping centre for 4 hours!! It was crazy stuff
My boss supplies our facepaint and we are useing GRIMAS, but Im looking to buy TAG (if I can afford it) as I find that the paint I have doesnt cover as well as I would like it. Can anyone help me out with some opinions or suggestion?
Hi again and thanks for this forum as it has got my inspiration flowing!!

Gidday & welcome to the group from Cradle Mountain, Tasmania Australia.
TAG is a brilliant paint with vibrant colours & awesome rainbow/split cakes.
You can purchase them from www.amygrigg.com.au (Sydney) or www.alwayswickedart.com.au (QLD).

Hi,
It looks like the Aussies are taking over.
I would recommend buying TAG paints from www.spectrumfaceandbodyart.com.au Gaenor posts express and her freight is for freight, no handling.
Cheers
Kristen

Re: Hi! Yet another Aussie!!
Hi! I use TAG for almost everything, but I followed Mark Reid's theory that Paradise is better for "boy" faces and I tend to agree. I think it is because "boy" faces tend to be full faces (skulls, monsters etc) and the paradise is like wearing powder, it is just beautiful. But TAG gives an awesome sharp finish that you need for spectacular butterflies and flowers etc. Having a mix of the stuff you love is great, you can't always get what you want from one brand.
But, having said that, I have a make-up artist facebook friend who says that there is no point in having a case full of everything you will ever need, you should just know how to get the best results from the stuff you have. She is probably right!

Hi and Welcome to the forums! Looks like we need a few more Kiwis to even things out around here
I use mostly TAG and Snazaroo paints. Snaz are pretty decent for bases and I couldn't be without my TAG black and white for line work and details.

Hi from North Carolina - Newbie here. I totally get the hunched over the computer thing as I do web design as my "day job". My hope is that if I can master this I can make face painting my "exit strategy"! Welcome and look forward to your posts :-)
