Where do you keep your sponges?

I have a clean, neat kit - in a silver metal case that I travel around with. I have two sets of Snazz color wheel sponges that put in plastic baggies for gigs. I keep them in my rolling travel bag. Any suggestions as to how to keep them accessible on the table while being neat? I spray them with sanitizer during a gig, then take them home and wash them in hot soapy water and let them air dry before putting them in a fresh plastic bag. But when Im working, I find them all over the table. The things tend to blow away at times too. Help.

I keep mine in a mesh bag hanging on the side of my cart, and then I have another bag (a tinkerbell car barge bag thing) that you can't see through for all of the dirty sponges and brushes

If I'm reusing a sponge (I use one per child but sometimes want to be able to come back to it), it gets clothes pegged up out of the way (plastic cleanable pegs). Ones I'm not going back to go into the bin, clean ones that haven't been used are in a mesh bag.

I keep mine in a cubby in my Fatmax. It keeps them from blowing around, falling off the table, etc. I use 1 sponge per face, so when I'm done w/ them I throw them into a bucket w/ water. This keeps them moist till I get home & can wash them properly(this bucket is also where I dump my water when I need a clean switch).

Is Fatmax a cart or storage bin?

I keep my clean sponges in a mesh bag that I hang on my tall directors chair. I put the dirty ones in a plastic bag that's inside of the sidepocket attachment that fits on my chair.

I keep mine in a clear, lidded plastic bin on my table. My chair has a saddlebag type contraption on the side, so I just put the used sponges in that as I go along. If I'm outdoors, I put a few sponges in my apron pocket so I can keep the lid on my sponge bin (in case of wind), indoors, the lid comes off and stays off.

Ice cream buckets... one for clean sponges, one for used. Just have to put the lid on to transport. Usually hold enough for 3-4 hours of painting at one sponge per face.... I carry more in the kit in ziploc bags.

I'm not sure if you can see very clearly, but our clean sponges are hung from our chairs in a mesh bag, and the dirty sponges go in a collapsible box on our table that also holds any trash that accumulates (baby wipes, etc). At the end of the day, we dump it an empty mesh bag then when I get home I take out the baby wipes and throw the mesh bag with just the sponges into the washing machine We use one sponge per face and with two people painting on really busy events we fill up the box!

I use the mesh garment bags you can wash your delicates in. I hang the clean ones off the director's chair and the dirty one off the table. I found bigger ones that are supposed to be for cars, I think Glad makes them, and they are the perfect size.
