Halloween--Candy or Glitter Tattoos?
I was wondering what you folks would think about doing Glitter Tattoos from my porch for Halloween instead of handing out Candy. We live in a condo and don't usually get too many trick or treaters at the most maybe 15-20.
Has anybody done anything like this? Good Idea or Bad Idea?

What a great idea! If you just get a few kids I think that would be awesome! Won't work here in Michigan, though. You'd have to unwrap too many layers of cold weather gear to get to skin by October 31st, lol!

I'm thinking just on the hands anyway. Chances are they may have a mask or facepaint on already.

I'm not sure. I'm kind of a persnickety mom, and might be miffed that someone put something on my child without asking me. Or are most of the trick-or-treaters around there accompanied by an adult?

Most have adults--but I never thought about it that way.
We are all pretty laid back out here in Hawaii. Maybe I should offer both?

Offer both because I think some parents will love it and others may turn up their nose.

Last year my husband and I decided to Twist Balloons for the kids in my parents sub-division. We had kids coming out of the woodwork for a simple twisted balloon. The kids loved it, but it was too much for us to handle so we have decided not to do that again this year. Maybe just do it in our neighborhood, we have less kids.

I LOVE the idea. If the kids are young they will have parents with them, to give the thumbs up. With older kids I am guessing it will be alright to have tattoos on the hands. Just make sure to hand them a care with removal instructions! (perferably with your business information on it). And have a few candy pieces at the ready for those who decline (though most won't I bet).

It's decided. I will do this and offer candy too. It's a great way to promote myself, make kids smile, and do something I love to do. It's a win-win.
