Toot Toot!

Hi gang! I just had to share this with you. I am so new out of the gate (painting for a month now) that I have been painting non stop to get as much practice as possible. Through the power of Face Book I have landed 4 gigs!! Two of which are at Xmas! Anyway I have had a few designs turn out really well and I just had to toot my own horn and share the pictures with you. I know I still have a lot to learn, especially thinning out my line work, but I was so pleased with the outcome.

The little blonde princess is my daughter.

Very well done. Looks like you have been doing this for much longer then a month.

Wow! When I was 1 month old in face painting years I was still slopping soggy paint filled mops on kiddies faces

Cute designs!! Very well done, keep it up!!! What kind of base is the clear pink you are using on your little one? Is it a shimmer powder?

It is Wolfe metallic red and white. I didn't use a lot of the white though...just a little on the cheeks and just under the forehead design on to the top of the eye.

Oh and btw, for the line work it looks like you may just need better quality brushes (the smallish round brushes that narrow at the tip work well for swirls and "tear drops" and a dotter (these are really helpful for me.) Good luck, would love to see your work after a year if this is what you could do after a month!

The only important laundry are your sponges & face painting towels, right?
