favorite metallix paint?

Clayton when you say you mix the two reds for spiderman... do you put one layer on the face first and then the other? Or do you mash the two paints together? I am not thrilled with my spiderman color (too flat - snaz red) and I have the red metallic from Paradise, and would love to try your method!

Try putting both on the sponge at the same time. Paradise metallic makes a great spidey guy all on it's own. Snaz is very flat. I just posted a picture I did in 2008 in the "Your 1st Pics" thread & it was all Snaz & I had no skill. It's quite horrid looking

I cut mine in half and make split cakes out of them. I like doing that way because you don't end up with the slick surface you get with just using the metallic. It gives it a shine too, but not too much.

Oh... and I use paradise red and metallic red in the cake... that way you don't have to reshape anything. they just fit together perfectly.
