Any super quick Sesame St ideas?
I've just been hired to do a Sesame St party for tomorrow and I only have an hour to do 20 faces! I hate cheek art, but I guess I'll have to go there.
If anyone has any sesame street designs I'd love to see them.
Thanks,
Magna

Re: Any super quick Sesame St ideas?
This one is off of the snazaroo site, but I use it all the time because of how fast it is. You use a mop and swipe it to make a red oval, put two white dots at the top for eyes, one orange one for the nose, then some really easy line work. I also modify it slightly to make it into cookie monster. I've found it to be the quickest sesame street design for me. Hope this helps! The picture is a little fuzzy, but you can get the concept.

Just to clarify, that is my paint and my photo. It is not off the snaz site. It is just a snaz design.

Sorry I don't have a pic as I'm traveling, but Kermit is super easy too. Good luck!
Re: Any super quick Sesame St ideas?
Thanks! It actually went well. I was stressed because I didn't feel prepared, so I made my daughter be my model this morning and painted some sesame st designs to bring to the gig. Grover was a big hit, and Elmo a close second. The trick was using the 'mop' sponges for the eyes and noses, then paint the fur colour while the white dries. finish up with the black. Paradise paints are great for Sesame St characters, although the snaz grass green is a great Oscar colour
I did one Oscar on the 'big cheese's' face. It was a private party at the local entertainment centre (where we have hockey games etc) after the 'real' Sesame Street show was done. I only had an hour and did about 16 faces. They were all really young except for two 10-12 year olds and the one adult.
On my way out to my van I was chased down by another corporate rep that wanted my card for their events. Very cool

Good job! They look really cute. It's very easy to get the dimensions wrong.... eyes too far apart head not quite round....lol
You did a perfect job!

I know this thread was buried but I thought I would share my Elmo design for the tag challenge. I guess this can be done with most of the characters. Oh, and it's painted on me because my kids are too old for Elmo "they said" lol
Re: Any super quick Sesame St ideas?
How can anyone be too old for Elmo???? I love it, Maggie. Great design.

I love your elmo Maggie - that looks like the characters look cause they're puppets! Only big bird and the snufelupagus (SP?) have legs, hahahaha. I love it. Lauri
