Re: Most amazing case!!!
I bought a similar case from the Container store for about $5 but it opens in the middle so it really lays flat.
Re: Most amazing case!!!
looks cool. I may consider this as I have several palettes. It would be easier if it was all in one case!

Re: Most amazing case!!!
Hey thanks for the pics! I had bought it at Walmart, and then returned it, because it was not completely flat (those decorative "waves" on both sides) and thought it would unbalance the paints. But it looks awesome in your Fat Max setup! I might have to get them again! "

The case looks better than the one they had at Michaels. I bought one for $5 but they are thick and doesnt have handle, a little too bulky.I attached all my paints using velcro from the 99cnts store and hold them good. I'll stop at walmart to get me one of this instead it looks better.

Re: Most amazing case!!!
I bought mine at Staples/ Business depot and it is basically called a project saver. I leave the lids off as well and put a piece of cardboard in the middle when I close it. I bought velcro dots at the Dollar Store and use 3 per cake. Seruce and safe. That way when I need alot of one colour, I can pull it out of the case and work with it in my hand. A huge time saver and way cheaper then the laptops.
I love mine.

They have the same ones at Joann's right now in a bunch of different colors. I am totally going to go get some this week.
Re: Most amazing case!!!
I just ditched the tacklebox & put my paints in this case & love it. The tacklebox was too deep for my sponges. My only issue is that I had to put my metallics back in their original pots & they are a bit crumbly
Re: Most amazing case!!!
I have been using a rolling Stanley aka Mastercraft toolbox for almost 9 years. Recently I started using a large "shopping trolley" which I like a lot better - bigger wheels, lighter and it expands so you can stuff it with dirty towels at the end of the gig.
At my age I think lightening the load is important.

Shannon, I'd love to see a pic of this - shopping trolley makes me think of a shopping cart which I am sure is not right. Is it something like one of those deep-wire-basket-on-wheels things? (I used to take my laundry to the laundromat in one years ago, that's what I am picturing.)
My daughter has been using a rolling Mastercraft toolbox for several years and she loves it. But I am going to be setting up my own kit soon and am considering a number of options. So I'd love to see whatever anyone cares to share!! Seen lots of pics of the Fatmax, it looks awesome but I'm open to other ideas also.

Try a tackle box froma hardware store or fishing store. You'll take the paints out of their containers & put them in the cubby holes of the tackle box. I did this for a while & it worked pretty well.
