she at first asked for something to do do with Cars....then...but she hesitated to ask she asked...maybe something like ed hardy does?...and I immediately said yes!...I just love ed hardy drawings and I was very happy to take that challenge...so the night before..I googled ed hardy images and printed them...then I took different things from different drawings, made up the text...simplified some things a bit...and drew a drawing with pencil...which I used as example for the bellypaint...I used similar colours as the ed hardy drawings...I used 3 different artycaked...for the snake, rose and leaves...

I really really like this, great work! I find drawing it out first helps me figure out stuff before I paint it and it really paid off in your excecution.

I was at a festival this weekend 7 painted my friends belly(she was the other painter in my booth). A lady actually looked at her & said, "That's disgusting!" How rude & close minded. My painter friend took it in stride, shrugged her shoulders & said, "So what." I was so proud of her.

That lady's attitude is "disgusting." Nobody asked her for her opinion I'm sure.
I guess some people just don't know when to keep their thoughts in their head and out of their mouths.

HAHAHA Sounds like where I live. I tell people I paint bellys and the immediate response i get is "WHY? Why would you do that? Thats weird." LOL Then I follow up with, that's what i've been trying to tell ya, i'm weird....

LOL! I cornered the market on weird years ago! Back in my punk rock days I "face painted" myself w/ eye liner & bold eye shadows... now I make it a business to do it to your kids!
