Michelle and I are arriving late on Tuesday and we are staying on Monday so that we can hit Universal Studio :-)

ARG! I am trying to be bummed about not getting in any early classes or getting to meet everyone early, but I can't seem to get over being so excited and grateful just to be going! Wish I could get in on that tho! See you guys soon!

We're driving down from NY, and kinda making an "epic" road trip out of it (me, an ex-drag queen, a party-hard nurse and a traveling chef...like I said, epic lol). We're actually leaving on Monday and will be arriving on Tues. I think on Tues night I'm going to register and then we were talking about hanging by the pool and checking things nearby out (maybe hit Universal on a night pass). If anyone gets in on Tues and wants to join up, I am all about the more the merrier.

Weds I'll prolly be doing breakfast alone (while my friends sleep lol) so I'd love company.

Since we're leaving on the 23rd (23 more days!!!!) and I have two out of town gigs the weekend before- crazy according to my hub but I need $$$ for the vendor room! - I will only be in touch via my phone after that.

If you get a taxi, it is about $45 one way. Last year we got a taxi that was a van, and we got 4 of us in it, then split the $45. That was just luck the can was there.

But, 3 of you would not be a problem in a normal taxi.

Izzysmom, that was the shuttle I was talking about. Jerrie told me all about it. It's a great deal. Much cheaper than any of the other forms of transport from the airport.

I tell you I am so glad that I am fortunate enough to attend this year, because quite frankly what are the odds that so many of us from this forum would be attending all at the same time again in such mass numbers. This will surely prove to be a wonderful time and a memorable experience.

I do sincerely wish all those who had a desire to go, could. You will be thought of and we will come back loaded with pictures for you to see.
