Re: evil clown!
I wonder how the brainstorming process went:
Hmm, how can I stalk little kids in a creepy clown suit and make money? Do it for their birthdays! Yeah, parents will pay big time!

Re: evil clown!
I think it would be cool for older kids! (like mid teens) But I can see how problems may arise. and some kids would be scared too..

Re: evil clown!
Wow, I can't imagine doing that to my kids. Isn't it the parents' job to provide a loving, supportive, SAFE environment for their children?

That's what I was thinking... I wonder if he refuses to do younger kids?contrachapado wrote:Wow, I can't imagine doing that to my kids. Isn't it the parents' job to provide a loving, supportive, SAFE environment for their children?
Re: evil clown!
I know several teens that would probably love this. (I think I would have too)!! I think it's more of a prank thank your regular clown...but YMMV!

Re: evil clown!
UGH! This makes me sick! I can't beleive people would do such a thing, it's dispicable!! People like this are the reasons children are terrified of clowns... and when the become adults, actually HATE clowns. This even makes for an unsafe environment for us good clowns. Adults who as children were traumatized by an 'evil clown' then do not hesitate to actually attack a clown when they see one. It has happened. It happens a lot more that you would think. Disgusting low-lifes like this guy are part of the reason the business of clowning is declining and more and more people are afraid of clowns.
On another note, what kind of horrible, sick, twisted parent would hire this guy?! Even for teenagers, this can be traumatizing. Thinking that someone is stalking you is not at all a funny expirience. If anything, teenagers would like it less because they know more of what a stalker is actually capable of and what it really means to be stalked.
This guy makes me sick. He needs to be put away somewhere where he can get his head screwed back on straight.

Re: evil clown!
If that's so, then why did the original article say "...if parents felt the kids were getting too scared...."?! He said that himself, in quotes, so he obviously does it for kids as well. This second artical states that it got it's information for another source,... SECOND HAND. The guy himself clearly stated he does it for kids as well, which is sick. And for the record, a 'kid' is not 18 and over, that is a legal adult. But even so, people can be traumatized at any age not just as kids. Again, this guy is dispicable, he should be put out of business.

Re: evil clown!
as a writer I can actually believe the first article had misinformation or the story was misconstrued from the start. happens everyday. either way I think a cake in the face is not going to truly terrorize a kid. that is the whole point of his stalking clown gig, right?
don't you think the cops would be after this guy if he was REALLY terrorizing children? I think it's a prank plain and simple.
here is his contact info if anyone reads German(?)

Re: evil clown!
Legally speaking, if he operates this a privately owned business, and he is payed by others to do this, there is NOTHING authorities can do to him. And as far as credibility goes, I would have to say the first source looks more credible, the second one is very 'vogue' looking and has a crazy, slightly obscure name, such as 'the onion' (which is also another non-credible source). Also, there is lazy reporting in the second one, there are no direct quotes, no one actually TALKED to this guy, they just got information from a collection of other articles, which were probably just as bad.

Re: evil clown!
looks like the dude has a theater company or some such gig.
whatevs, to each his/her own. I still think it's hilarious!
I'm sure if he was terrorizing kids the authorities could and WOULD do something. I don't buy that for a second. Ever heard of John Wayne Gacy?
