five products
What is your top 5 in face painting products? Excluded in this top 5 are sponges and brushes and huge palets with many colors. Name the things/products that you love the most.
(edit: In addition I am curious about your number one brush (not the size, but your favorite/must usefull/good for almost every design brush)

Re: five products
This is hard... so many choices...
1)Starblend Powders... all colors
2) glitter(it hides a multitude of mistakes:-)
3) Filburt brushes(I love the thin & thick lines I can get & the teardrops)
4) splitcakes/rainbow cakes
5) My new Directors chair(my back is loving this... but my feet aren't sure:-)
I'm w/ you Metina on the DFX white & black being a given...

Re: five products
Ok, if white and black are givens (although mine are Snaz since I'm allergic to DFX)....
1. Snazaroo medium round brush (I'm told it's around a 7 or ... I do almost everything with this one.
2. Snaz Pink
3. Snaz Purple
4. Snaz dark blue
5. Snaz red
I suppose I could add the irridescent glitter in a little poof bottle to the list.

My favorites
It's late I can only focus on a few:
1. StarBlend colors are the best perfectly smooth, background in a rush palette that I have ever used.
2. Ben Nye Lumiere peacock blue (Best eyeliner: it sets as the skin around the eye regains its moisture and will last all day).
3. BN Lumiere sparkle white: VERY sophisticated look.
4. All my Arty Cakes - ESPECIALLY 'bright leaf'.
5. BEST: My roll-in-any-direction super big, collapsible black case with the external frame and HUMONGOUS pockets everywhere. I *LOVE* it and I got it (2.5 years ago) ON SALE at A C Moore for just $20 on sale. The handle flips in two directions and is removable as well. It has one side that is all file type pockets and some mesh pockets on the inside wall; a huge center pocket with velcro-fuzz strip on the end sides. The opposite side is all plastic see-through pockets, smal pockets with zippers. Brush pockets and elastic loops. Each of those outside sections have double zippers. The end sides have giant expandable pockets large enough to hold a bottle of 99% alcohol and a box of wipes, business cards etc on the other. THE WHEELS ROCK! Spin in any direction, grab the external frame t lift the thing into the car.
I know ... I sound obsessive. Oh and you brush junkies (like me!) aren't??

Paradise Black and White are a given.....
1. paradise wild orchid
2. paradise rainbow cake (made by me)
3. glitter (the master of disguise)
4. Paradise dark pink, teal , mango split.
5. My black and purple metal make-up case. It was a gift to me from my partner when I started, and it looks really professional.
I agree with all the #4 round fans.

Re: five products
I want to say:
1) Director's chair
2) Rolling tool kit with all of it's contents!
But that would be cheating
Really...(I'm going to do all products, and nix the director's chair, even though that would be one of my overall THINGS - but it's technically not product...haha. Also DFX B&W are given.)
1) DFX purple - great for line work when I don't want to use DFX black
2) Kryolan neon rainbow cake
3) AHHH THIS IS HARD!
3) Split DFX light/essential green
4) Kryolan pink (sometimes mixed with some Kryolan Intf Silber)
5) DFX Metallix Red
That was hard I feel like I'm hurting feelings! Haha.
And I'd have to say...round Loew-Cornell #6. Or 4
PS - Shannon - I have a cake of the "real" bach blue as well - so you don't have ALL of it - just most of it, haha

Re: five products
3 & 3 Lolz yes, I agree. I did not make a list yet!
I guess I will do that now then. Lets see...
1. The Eulenspiegel rainbow box/splitcake for using the colors seperate.
2. DFX black
3. DFX white, maybe metallic white to have at least 'something' metallic. (I do not actually have that one but.. )
4. Aqua colour brown (one I love, but not sure of the name, great for cats)
5. A dark red of.. aqua or Mehron I guess, mixed with a tiny bit of black it makes red/brown also for animals and cats. Mixed with white its pink.
The 1st is for flowers, butterflies and anything colorfull/girly. The black and white is obvious and the browns for all kinds of animals. And the red just extra colour for the girl like things but also for spiderman ;P
And my fav brush is the Royal Majestic round nr 4 'or' 6, both are ok for details and bigger work.
