Woo Hoo! Just Ordered My First DFX Paints!
I ordered the metallix pallet so I can try the all out. I figure if I like them all, I can just use those for lips and cheek art and then buy the bigger cakes for everything else.
So excited! Can't wait to try that purple especially!

You will definitely have to let us know how it turns out. I've been thinking about getting some myself, but I've been a little hesitant at the costs.

I should have ordered it earlier in the week. Would have been nice to try it out tomorrow, along with my new chair.

I just got the metallic black and tho I do not think it sparkles much, I love the application

I think that I am going to get the twelve colored essentials set and the twelve color neon/metallics set. That way I can try out all of the colors and use them for a while.

I have a huge set of DFX and most of the metallix, LOVE them all. Just remember, that some of the colours WILL leave behind a stain, but all you have to do to get it off is use a dark cloth and give a little scrub with kids shampoo. (Any shampoo works but I tell the parents kids shampoo)
I do shy away from doing full faces with only the metallix, especially on a fair skinned child but if a child is insitant, I just make sure I speak directly to the parent and let them know the shamppo and scrub trick so they don;t hate me forever thinking I have stained their child purple LOL And yes, it ireally does make a design pop on darker skin and the coverage is amazing and easy.
Also, if you practice on your arm, you will find that it stains much worse than on a face as your arm skin is dryer and holds the colour better, don't let the arm stain scare you away from using these awesome paints!!
