Anyone close to San Diego?

I'm in southern CA and hoping to go from face paint and makeup special fx enthusiast to actual professional. I have no idea where to start, or what classes to take, and I have limited knowledge of products and supplies. hi and welcome kirarakat, the forum has lots of info on getting started and improving, just search for topics in the search box.

my two pieces of advice, also based on experience, are to use good quality face paints and brushes to practice - you won't improve struggling with hard to use cheap face paints and brushes that don't produce good brush strokes.

and practice copying good face paint designs, and the techniques used to create them. YouTube has videos of techniques by different professionals.
