Hi everyone! I'm new to face painting and am wondering which split cakes you guys would consider are the best ones for a beginner? I currently just have the Paradise Prisma Cake in Flash.

probably depends on the designs you are starting with.

what colors are the designs you plan to use the split cakes for?

are you going with traditional colors (green dinos/snake, orange tiger, pink/purple princess) or are you going to do fantasy or unusual color combinations?

look at other face painters' designs for ideas to decide what colors to use (Google searches of face painting are good for this, also their websites).

then get several split cakes and use them to see if you like them. add to your collection with colors for other designs.
