Hello! I've been a member for a couple months but haven't introduced myself yet! Or joined any conversations. But I've gotten so many good tips from you all from reading the threads. I've been face painting for a year now. I have an art background and put it on hold for quite a few years staying home with my kids. Last fall I face painted at a fundraiser for the first time and fell in love. Now I've done several birthday parties and and a few outdoor street festivals in Toronto. Looking forward to taking part in this great online community and continuing to learn more! Smile

Welcome to The Forum!
I love this place!
I have learned so much from the font of knowledge here.
I also live in Toronto (right by the Ossington subway).
There is a monthly jam I strive to attend called Winky's Jam around Sheppard and the Allen Expressway. Face Painters, Airbrush Artists, Magicians, Clown, Balloon Twisters and Jugglers attend the Jam.
I am holding weekly jams for my team from the CNE and you are welcome to attend.

Fesspenter, I'm just up the street around Ossington and Dupont! I just took a peek at your website and I recognize you from the CNE! I bring my daughters there every year and they get their faces painted. Smile I'd love to attend a jam. So far I've just learned everything from online but would love to connect with other face painters in "real life". I'll PM you.
