So happy to hear from you...AND you're still expressing your self with art! Merry Christmas.

Thank you. I am trying. Things are still a really rough go. I did spend September doing makeup for Halloween Horror Nights, and now prosthetics for Grinchmas at Universal Studios- so that has been good for me. Decided to start face painting business, so easing into that trying to get leads and gigs. Times they ARE hard now, but trying to climb the mountain.

i had a thought about your situation..you know how when you are learning and developing your creative skills you use the supplies and practice the techniques of the trade?

it's seems to be sort of the same with the business aspects, you are practicing to see what aspects or combination of things will work so you can earn a living.

in the past you worked for a large outfit, which gave you one result, then you tried opening your studio/store, but that didn't catch on, so now you are trying other ways of using your talents. keep experimenting and adapting until you find the combination that works.
