$1,000,000 insurance for $2/year! Empty $1,000,000 insurance for $2/year!

While shopping around for personal liability insurance, I contacted my auto insurance company to get a quote. They quoted me $138/year for a $1,000,000 policy, a rather reasonable amount. Because I would be getting both my umbrella policy and auto policy through them, it would apply a discount to my auto policy of $136/year. The end result was that I gained my personal liability insurance for $2 more per year!

Personal liability is not public liability insurance, which is what you need if you are working with an providing a service to the public.

Personal liability does not cover a commercial enterprise.
