5 day fair and i'm on the midway !

First time painting on a midway guys. Helpful tips appreciated!!!! It's an hour away from my home.
Things I'm already thinking about:
Pack show tent
Go to Sam's for paper towels and baby wipes
Jumbo bottle sanitizer
'gone to lunch' sign (in diabetic, I gotta eat)
Two 5 gallon buckets with lids, one for spent wash water one with clean water....maybe two five gallon buckets with clean water, I'm a water hog. Lol.
Extension cords
Clear Christmas lights (i use them after dark in the empty space above tent rails, looks magical.)
Fans and both 3 ways in case it's hot
Buy extra black, white, (giving me 3 of each)
Cut up some xtra sponges just in case, though I rarely need them
What else? What else? I've done large fairs before as an artist, just not in the face painting realm.

lots of face painters recommend a cooler with ice packs and back up paints, swap them in and out of the cooler if they get gooey in the heat.

You're going to need more painting light than christmas lights.

Other things you need:

1.) An assistant

2.) Food (Carnival food is wretched after a few days)

3.) A proper and adequate anchoring system

Ok the next thing I have to say will sound very negative but I want you to be prepared...

In my area "On the Midway" is a lie told by Festival Organizers to draw in vendors. "We only allow one face painter" is usually the other lie I hear all the time. In my area, when you are told either of these things it usually means you will be no less than 30 feet away from the Midway and there will be five other face painters.

Protips:

People don't go to the best face painter or the cheapest face painter, they go to the first one they see. If you want to be the busiest face painter be the first one seen. Do it with location and signage. If someone gets there first be the next one seen. Just try not to be the last one seen.

I failed to mention: it's a sh.. load of lights , 6 strands, they have been quite adequate painting after dark on beach. I have the anchors as I've had to set up on pavement before, lots of times. No possibility of a helper, I'm a one girl band. Lol. Being diabetic, I always pack a cooler with food and drinks, plus, I don't care for the over inflated fair food prices.
God but I hope this area is different!! I have a layout diagrams they sent me, it shows me in kiddie land right at the entrance where tghe ticket booth is? Seemed like a great spot? Yes? No?
