Teal Stain Test Results!
At my local Jam last night I had a variety of different teals, as well as global green, dark blue, and FAB pink shimmer, stain tested on my arm. Here are the results!
I have very pale, very dry skin. Yellow stains me. The paint was worn for approximately 1h before being washed off with only soap and water.
Global dark blue does not appear in the initial test, as I had taken the photo beforehand and forgot to take an additional one. However, as you can see, it does noticeably stain me.
Global teal is not as blue as it appears in the photo, the colour was pulled from the Calgary split cake and likely has a touch of ultra blue mixed in.

Re: Teal Stain Test Results!
Soap applied first, followed by warm water.
In person, I can still see the lines from the Wolfe and DFX on my arm, the Tag can be seen quite clearly, the FAB left a hint of a stain, and the global teal and dark green completely came off with one wash.
I find that the Global dark blue stains just as much as the TAG teal did.
Haven't tried to scrub it off yet, but from past arm practicing with my global split cake and tag teal, a bit of scrubbing and oil-based remover will get the majority off, the rest fades in a couple days.

Stains on my arms have become a fact of life, I tend not to worry about completely getting rid of them unless I have an important occasion to bare my arms for

It was fabulous meeting you in person last night, kookyclowns! You took a bullet for the team to offer up your arm for stainage.
And, the FAB I used on you was FAB Minty Blue.
Happy Painting!

Jilrie - After some scrubbing with soap lotion-heavy soap in the shower, the global blue lifts off without a trace, the FAB pink shimmer did as well. The Tag teal didn't change, the test teardrops are still clearly visible.
Re: Teal Stain Test Results!
hmm, good info to know. i wonder why tag (or any other company with highly staining colors) doesn't adjust their formula, since their teal color is not that different from the others.

Re: Teal Stain Test Results!
Different brands have different colors that stain. I know with tag the green spectrum is bad for stain, mehron is much the same. Wolf Black is a bad one too. They are just all over the place. The less pigment you have in your skin the worse the stain.
This can be helped by using actual makeup remover, or apply moisturizer to the skin, leave on for a few min, then wash off.
Here's a fun stain that is hard core, mix mehron gray with teal and watch how the palms of your hands stay green for DAYS. Only the palms tho. :p
