Thank You Note

What is the proper etiquette on this subject. Do any of you send them after birthday parties, etc?

I will often send/receive an email.

I have thank you cards made up and I send one after each party. I'm a big "thank you note" sender in my non-face painting life as well!

JJJJJ how do you find the response from your thank you notes? I usually just send emails, but i'm wondering if I would get more repeat business if I sent psychical notes.

Not really sure, Forest! I do have a handful of repeat customers who do everything they can to book me, including changing their party dates, etc. I have really gotten to know these kids and families and the relationship is warm and personal. But as far as the response to the cards, I couldn't really say. I also send out a winter card (like a calendar card) to all my customers, at a fair expense. I'm sure it keeps my name out there. I send the "thank you" cards, though, more in line with who I am than with the business. It's just ... thanks!
