Hello from Michigan!

Hi everyone! I've been a lurker for a while now and have really enjoyed the comments you all have!

Three years ago I went to my DS kindergarten teacher and said, "Hey, I'd like to face paint the kids on the last day of school." I'd never face painted before... I'd never painted or drawn before. I bought my paints on a Wed, practiced on my kids on Thurs, and painted 36 kids on Friday! WHEW - after that I was totally exhausted, and totally hooked! After, I painted mostly at church functions and just this past March created my LLC - My Fun Faces. I've thoroughly enjoyed this past summer getting more and more painting gigs - sooooo much fun!

I also own Nurturing Naturally where I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in private practice. I see Moms in their homes and help them with breastfeeding. It is an amazing job and I feel privileged to have families invite me in at such a tender time. I see the gamut in cases from normal engorgement and sore nipples to more complex cases like failure to thrive, oral dysfunction, and neurologically impaired babies.

I'm married to a wonderful man and we have 3 amazing kids, a cat, and a dog. I'm active at my church and lead the bible moment in our Mom's group. Life is crazy during this season and my house seems like it's never clean!

Oh mi gosh!!! I grew up in Sterling Heights - 15 1/2 & Ryan! I went to Sterling - did you go to Warren or Mott?? Now I'm up in Ortonville - 10 miles north of Clarkston, and about 10 min E of Mt Holly!

I went to Lincoln.
Marshall Mathers went to my school, many years after I left. I am puzzled by his song "Eight Mile" because I grew up in the same neighbourhood.
Then, we moved to Garland, Texas, just outside Dallas. Then we moved to Altamonte Springs, just outside Orlando....then we moved to Mississauga, Ontario, just outside Toronto. I now live in Toronto....which is beside Mississauga!
