Got my feet wet!!

I went to a church picnic today and spent almost 3 hrs painting! The time flew by and I loved every moment!

I didn't have a pic list for the kids to chose from but I thought I was prepared for the basic requests. I had practiced a basic batman, Spider-Man, superman, wolverine, ironman, and green lantern for the boys, and butterfly, flower crowns, and kitty masks for the girls.

Nothing I had practiced was requested!!! Every request I had to google to get a basic idea, but the kids loved it.

There was a water gun war going on so all the boys wanted camo(sp?). All I have is the basic snaz pallet and it has no brown! I had to dig up and mix my blue and orange to make it happen. I must admit it hurt to dig out the pigment from the two pots (I almost cried) but the finished product worked and brought a new level to the boys game!!

Final count for the 3 hours was 23 faces, which, as a beginner, I'm proud of.

That’s actually really good that you did 23 even with having to Google pics! Kudos for having the confidence to just wing it. I think we are ALL helplessly hooked - addicton, obsession, whatever you wanna call it....we’re all in this together.
