That looks SOOOO awesome!!! My 3 oldest kids are in Alice in Wonderland back in Indiana--My oldest is the March Hare, 15 year old is the Caterpillar, and my 12 year old is just in the chorus...but I'm sure it's NO WHERE NEAR that...absolutely incredible! I've GOT to see that!

Re: Get your paints ready! Alice in Wonderland
It is really worth the trip to the theater! But I will suggest that it is not for the really young kids. I won;t be takling my 3 and 5 yr olds to see it. I MIGHT let them see it on DVD, but on the big screen there are a few moments that would scare the naughty word out of them or really freak them out. And it is nice to finally have an answer to "Just what DOES the Queen do with all the heads she has chopped off?" LOL I LOOOOVE the castle, and the red dress that Alice gets. And there are indeed hundreds of insiration moments in the movie, I kept nudging my friends daughter and saying "Oh I wanna paint that, OH I wanna paint THAT!"
"Since the moment I fell down that rabbit hole, I have been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed in a teapot!"|
Woohoo! What a great show!

Re: Get your paints ready! Alice in Wonderland
I think I'll keep it simple for going to the theatre tonight and just do the knave of hearts painting on myself.

Re: Get your paints ready! Alice in Wonderland
I haven't seen the movie, but the theatre group I'm part of is planning to put on the play in August... guess who's going to be doing the makeup?
Re: Get your paints ready! Alice in Wonderland
I have a group called The Mad Hatter's which chooses a theme each month, dresses accordingly and then goes out for it. Just because.
Of course this months theme was Alice.
We got into the movie for free because we dressed up and I got a gig working future movie promotions for the theater.
**and for some reason, I can't get the image to embed...the photos on my LJ
