Hello from Missouri

Hello All,

I am new to face painting and having a great time with it. My daughter and I are wanting to include glitter tattoos and have bought the little kit to play and practice with but are wanting to do some more freehand designs. So we want to buy a larger bottle of glue but I don't know what to buy. We would like to be able to offer these at a free community event coming up next month but we want them to last all day for the kids - preferably a few days. All advice is welcome.

Is spirit gum appropriate? I have also seen the pink body glue. There is a brand called glimmer on ebay that has a large refill bottle but I can't find reviews.

Glimmer Body Arts sells their glue. I really like Moonlight Glue for freehand Glitter Tattoos. Try different brands, as different artists like different products.

If you type in “glue” into the search, you should find lots of discussion on this subject. Spirit Gum is not recommended for glitter tats. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you. I don't want to waste $ on something I won't use. It looks like several people like Moonlight Glue. I will have to check that out.

Moonlight glue is amazing and lasts FOREVER. It has a very strong odor and the MDS sheets are questionable (IMO). I use it on myself and other adults but I use Prosaide on children just to be on the safe side.

I am in Blue Springs, a suburb of Kansas City. We make it to St Louis occasionally but not often anymore. The family we used to have there has moved.
