Anyone ever used the new brand "Ruby Red" from Silly Farm? Empty Anyone ever used the new brand "Ruby Red" from Silly Farm?

Just got an email about this new brand (made by some guy formerly from Snazaroo). Here's what the description says. Anyone ever try it?

Ruby Red is a new paint manufactured in the US by the former US Snazaroo Distributor, Gary Cole. Gary created a paint that is Gluten-free, Vegan, and carries a child safety rating. Ruby Red is available in over 50 amazing shades and custom colors can be created using pantone color chart matching. Ruby Red is an ideal paint for sensitive skin and passes the parent test for easy removal and comfortable to waer on the skin.

To use: Dampen brush or sponge and rub over the surface of the paints until you build up a desired consistency, and then apply to the skin.

Gary Cole is a respected guy who had a long association selling Snazaroo in the USA. I haven't tried the Ruby Red yet, though I'm eager to. There is a website for it. Check it out.

The word is, after trying them, some artists found some things they didn't like, and he ( Gary Cole) says he is working on improving those issues, fex they smeared,

HUGE facebook discussions on it. Haven't tried it as I don't need any paints.

Gary brought his new line (samples only) to a convention in January and I painted with all the colors. They were creamy, smooth and provided a nice opaque coverage. The blues were especially pretty and the black was really nice. I brought home small samples of several colors. At that time they did smear quite easily and that disappointed me. However, I'm not sure if that issue has been addressed already or is in the process of being addressed.

Yes and I love them (I'm Vegan and so are the paints)..... They are creamy, feel great, and come off easily.  They also don't stain the skin after you take it off. I painted my son and I with the blue and with the black. I am def. buying more of these paints.

At FABAIC a few days ago, Gary showed me how to use them so they would not smear ... but they did. I did like how they went on however.
