After years of trial & error in my face painting kit and set-up I finally found the FPF and with ya'lls help found something that really works. Fatmax, director's chair, etc. Now I'm trying to add painted baby bumps to my services and am stumped... do I bring my full FP kit? Do I set it up like normal?

I painted my first belly last night and only brought part of my kit and set up on a tote and sat on an up-turned milk crate. I feel it looked amateur and man did my lower back hurt after painting for hours.

So... what do ya'll do? What works? What doesn't?

I use an extra-wide, zero gravity lounge chair for the Mom-to-be, and a small folding stool for myself. I bring a large black cotton bath sheet to drape the lounge chair. I bring my full kit, and I feel I bring way too much.

Happy Belly Painting!

I used to paint moms to be at their house lying down on sofas, after a community baby shower where I painted 22 moms in 3 hours I am thinking on changing that, they sat in a regular chair, I sat in a lower stool in front of them, my eyes were at level with the bellies and I didn't have a back pain after that.

omg that sounds awesome, luz!

I took my full kit, even though I knew I was only going to use a few colors.

I was glad I took the whole thing though, because the kids wanted to be painted at the last minute, and I was able to do so Smile

I bring my whole kit, you never know what you will need! I also tend to do it at the clients house, so i have them sit back on a couch with a pillow behind them. I sit on a short stool so i am level with the belly.
