I was in the newspaper!

I haven't been online since NOVEMBER! I have been enjoying reading everyone's posts. I just made a promise to myself to come on at least once a week to see what's going on here.
Anyhow, I had a few gigs over the Christmas holidays - and it turns out I was in the weekly newspaper, painting a little girl's face at a Christmas Party. The only downside is I was wearing an UGLY shirt, and they only put my name, and not my business names - but I got another gig because of that!
Being published in the paper has gotten me rid of my fears of posting my painting here.....so I plan on doing some painting over the weekend and posting some things early in the week.
Back to catching up on posts!

It's a fun feeling, isn't it?
I did some work for an ad company that did a whole ad campaign for a local cancer treatment center.
I'm still seeing myself on TV and there are even billboards up all around Memphis!
It doesn't credit me, so I didn't get business from it, but I know, and so do all my friends! Plus, it was a rockin' paycheck!

And yes people are looking at your shirt. Get a company shirt so they know who you really are. You are right in that your business name books you more when in print with the photo.

This last year was good, I made a newspaper, a magazine, billboards and the best - city busses in San Francisco.
