Coral3's beginner balloon twisting
So here are a couple 'first attempts' at things. I should start taking more pics of what I make, but I usually don't think to until the creation is starting to lose shine, and then the chance has been missed. Mostly I'm just learning by watching youtube tutorials at the moment, but am looking forward to being able to 'wing it' and create things off the top of my head. I did make a road runner bird by winging it the other day & he turned out pretty cute, but mostly my 'winging it' fails more often than it works at the moment! LOL Long way to go, I'm BRAND new at this twisting thing, but finding it heaps of fun.

I love your hat and flowers, so colorful and cute. I probably will one day p/u some twisting but for now I'm trying to hone my skill and stay focused
Re: Coral3's beginner balloon twisting
your flowers look awesome and you first attempt on the hat looks great as well. keep up the good work
Re: Coral3's beginner balloon twisting
Thanks guys, I'm trying hard...not sure it's something I'll ever get good enough to do anything with, but am finding it a lot of fun.
Here's the rabbit I twisted yesterday (courtesy of youtube tute from Mr Boma's Balloons). Couple problems with it, I know, next one will be better (we hope! LOL)

My first balloon bouquet
PS - Barb you'll be pleased to know that I have been practicing lots of one and two balloon designs in the last week or so, it's just that I tend not to take photos of them.

Coral the balloon bouquet is adorable and you will do great...you could get good money for this if you do valentine bouquets
Re: Coral3's beginner balloon twisting
So cute! It looks like I'm going to add balloons to my repertoire out of necessity, but, really? Poor me! That looks like a blast and I had no idea how creative and beautiful they could be! What an awesome business we're in. I wish I'd known about "party art" much sooner!

Hi LaLaLaura
I'd forgotton all about this thread until I received notification that someone had commented. Seems like I'm never on FPF these days...to be honest, I've lost my confidence with FPing a bit. I've found I much prefer balloon twisting, but am still practicing at that trying to get better / faster before even considering doing parties etc.
Havn't been taking photos much, but I did snap this one made at Easter because I was pretty happy with it:
Have fun balloon twisting LaLaLaura...I'm sure you'll love it. And one of the added benefits? - it gets you out of the kid's 'sneeze-range' & that's got to be a good thing!!

Re: Coral3's beginner balloon twisting
^ fabulous dress Barb! Love it. My twisting has not progressed lately, to be honest I've gotten a little turned off it all by greedy kids always demanding more, more, more and not saying 'thank you'. Kind of spoils the enjoyment factor for me. So I've not had the balloons out much lately. I definitely should get them out again and have a play just for fun though.
