Special Requirements for Contracts

Hello lovely painters! I'm doing an update to my contract and am adding in a section titled "Artist Requirements".

So far, I have as follows:


1. For outside events, the Client must provide sufficient protection from sun, rain, wind or other elements.
2. For indoor events, the Client must ensure that the venue is a comfortable temperature.
3. For events longer than three hours, the Client must provide access to fresh water.
4. For events between four and seven hours, the artist is entitled to take a break of approximately 15 minutes.
5. For events between eight and ten hours, the artist is entitled to take two breaks of approximately 15 minutes each.

Are these reasonable requests? Is there anything else I should include?

You should include that you need light, I didn't have that as a requirement before, and I once got put in a tent outside after dark, with some Christmas lights as decoration... I couldn't see what color paint I was using :-D

I have added in one for light.

It sounds like you must have painted some interesting faces that night! haha   - But I'm sure that they still looked great!

#2 may be beyond their control... I've painted in ice arenas.  and under Mall skylights in summer...
