TAG, Your it. A Fun Game for All!

ok, I think I got the lines of the face right... it's tricky to make the lines from the larger "horns" line up above the eyes and the same as the nostrils. I'm not spectacular at highlights/shading and just using gray on black is a challenge for me. ..... ok, ok, no disclaimers. Here's my dragon from "How to Train Your Dragon"

I love the metallic black DFX. It goes on soo nice, It seems to come off fairly normally, but I have only really used it so far with line work.

I use the Snaz Metallic Blue for the kids when they request the Batman mask. I will do the line work with DFX black if it's an indoor event, but in the summer I use white for line work. Tends to cut down of the effects of melting in the heat and the kids still love it!

Wow, I love Perrys Toothless design. I went and saw it with my kids the other day in 3D. It was great! And the kids had their first 3d experience and loved it. Sooooo funny to see my 4 yr old take off the glasses in the end, because he thought it snowed in the theatre .

Can I copy you design Perry?

OK, you'll find this funny... my 8 yr old son says, "Oh, that's a Night Furry. All night Furies fire is blue. Everyone knows that." Kid's are the worst critics sometimes(I still love the dragon:-)

Oh, Perry you are such an inspiration with your toothless dragon! The kids came into Fuddruckers last night from the Taming your Dragon movie and I sortakinda remembered your design. All the kids knew I love to paint dragons and expected me to know all about those particular dragons in the movie. I know zip about them and so grateful I saw your design!

Aden, a Thursday nite regular painted the eye shape on the mirror for me and I drew attention away from my faux pas dragon head with bling in the fire, so he was just delighted. I guess it was close enuf that all the kids wanted a toothless dragon design. THANKYOU SOO MUCH PERRY, you saved the night for all those kids with your design! I am ever so grateful!

Later one of he kids told me about the blue flames so I told her if I added blue to the fire I already painted, it would be green on her face but she insisted and yuppers, it was green! She wouldn't wait till the fire colors dried.

Aden told me he was reading the fifth Taming your Dragon book and they are really specific on kinds of dragons & what they look like - I'd better do some research into it.

I'm glad it helped.

I just barely figured out how to do yellow/red fire.... I guess I have to start practicing blue fire now. .... I wonder if it means their fire is sourced by natural gas or something LOL

I've seen the movie 2 times(my sone is hooked on the books & movie) & didn't know the flames were blue. It's a cute movie.

Well I tries several times on the camoflage thing and several times they were HORRIBLE but I tied a simple one and i kind of like it! kind of odd but it is my take on blue camoflage!

it's good to challenge ourselves once in a while! It's cute! And now you have some practice on doing camouflage.

Perry thank you for your kind words! I have never been good a art but i am trying to stretch myself to learn more.....I may never be as good as yourself and others on the forum but one thing i can say is i tried!
