Finally! woohoo!

Hey guys

This weekend... it was THIS weekend that I finally felt like a real professional face painter! What a wonderful feeling! :DYippee

I finally have speed on my side, and I can mentally break down each design so it flows efficiently, and people cannot believe what I am putting on their children's faces! All I could hear was 'OMG! Look at that!!' 'Wow that is so impressive' etc etc, I also heard one guy boasting about how I had already painted his daughters face, yep! We were buddies him and I, we went WAY back! :DAH! Just so excited!

So.. the details: I did a three hour event for the public, it was PPF and I was requested to offer $3 designs for speed, which I regret because a lot of the parents just forced their children to get those designs when they clearly wanted the bigger better designs, I think the $5 are the best bang for your buck, they are half faces, fun and fast! These are the designs I WANT kids to pick, but parents obviously want to pay the least they can haha. Anyway, that isn't important.

so after the event I went straight to a birthday party... at the party I got sneezed on (initiation!) AND ripped off two faces!! Woohoo!! haha

At the party I painted 6 kitties (Thanks Suzie Sparkles for an amazing rainbow kitty design ) in record breaking time for me!

I have also already booked TWO other parties from the event as well as two other events, wow! What an awesome weekend!

So yea, I think I am finally there, OH, AND I finally got my webpage up... still a lot of work to do but more professional then just a FB page...

- Can't think of any other place to post my excitement because I don't think my friends would really understand!

Ok, the website, take it easy on me I know there are quite a few things I will need to change, but it took me two weeks flat out to get to this point (totally forgot how much HTML is a pain in the *&$% also my first time using photo shop, OMG how cranky is that program!!!) and I will get back to it soon. It is mostly just to show businesses (restaurants etc) that I am serious and in business.

Hope you like it :DIt is a bit more artsy fartsy then functional but ... hey, I am an artist, right?

Great artwork & your website looks very professional.

Some things I would change are the title of the Home page (Currently reads as: "Don't index this page") ... Maybe have a fairly consistent Title throughout the other tabbed pages as well. This will affect the name of the page when it gets bookmarked or as the title appears in the title bar of the tab/browser window.

Add hyperlinks to your email address and your facebook page in your contacts and in your copyright footer.

At least put the pictures you are using through out your website (& especially those that are visible from the Home Page) currently as accessible in your Gallery until you are ready to fill it with more pictures (that way, you can take down the "Sorry! Under Construction" Notice... Maybe replace the notice with "More Coming Soon" instead.
