Shameless plug........start with a class. Honestly it really helps. I along with my dear friend Donna Nowack and I are teaching airbrush at the Face Painting and Body Art Convention November 10-15, 2013 in St Louis Mo. We may be blonde but together Donna and I equal a brunette! We promise to have any newbie or novice up and airbrushing by the event's end.

Re: air brush tattoos where to start?
First do check the many threads here on how to set up in airbrush.
The first thing I ask people is what do you want to do with your airbrush, because what you plan, want and even desire may be different when it comes to purchasing. And you answered that - Airbrush Tattoos are very different than beauty, even FX airbrush makeup, in their set up needs. Sure they cross but most tattooists use very different makeup and brushes than a MUA.
So what do you perceive to be the one you lean towards, where is the passion and profit for you?
Do you need or want serious work horses or will more light duty aka cheaper tools work?
What you do also ties into what is the budget. Plan to spend about $500 to $1500 to get a complete system set up.
PM me and I will send you a resource sheet on airbrush so you can do your homework re systems... then your will be better posed to ask questions about your needs.
