@Sammy6635 - did you PM twobees so she would receive the notice?  

If Twobees was contacted and PM'd and has not posted an 'I'm on it but just late' or 'Got it!' or a request like 'Can the next person take my tag and tag me back because.....' then the rules state:

"When you are tagged, you have 2 days to complete your design...if we don't hear from you, it goes to the next person on the list. (Your turn is forfeited and if you want to try again, you need to put your name on the bottom of the list.)"

It may seem a bit harsh, but if that is not there, then we could wait weeks for our turn OR for someone to finally move on.

Perhaps we should pass over the tag Sammy gave twobees to the next in line who is PaolaSunglow?

Let me know if she got the msg?

I just don't know. Based on the rules I would say yes, and then just PM her that you covered it and tag her when you're done... I'm new here so that's just my guess.

I say go ahead and take the tag if she has not even acknowledged the pm. Not fair to keep everyone waiting days on end (not the first time it's happened with her, just sayin)

i'm posting this tomorrow!!! I had almost all of it painted today, and then my daughter fell down the stairs...

This is the premise of "Tag You're It:" The person before you on the list sends you a PM telling you what they want you to paint...and you have two days to come up with it and post it.


~ When you are done your painting, tag the next person
~IF you want to play, just add your name to the bottom (you don't have to ask to join) then repost the list with your name added.
~When you are tagged, you have 2 days to complete your design...if we don't hear from you, it goes to the next person on the list. (Your turn is forfeited and if you want to try again, you need to put your name on the bottom of the list.)
~When you compete your tag, remove your name from the list, PM the next person on the list with their assignment; you should also put the info in the thread so others know who's been tagged and what they are to paint.)

Please post your name has it appears under your avatar...if you shorten it, especially if you are new, by the time we get to your name we may not be able to find you on the memberlist if it is not an EXACT match.

I think here you have been more then unfair on your arbitrary view.
It is not a question of "Seniority" rather a question of "Communication". Had you let us know by simply stating i will do it in "one day" or "two days" or "three days" that would have given respect to everybody here and understanding for you.
I have noticed you found time to come on line the day before yesterday which is what prompt me to write you privately yesterday and find out if everything was all right.

The purpose of this game is not to point fingers at others, is my understanding, rather is to challenge oneself to himself. It is to open one's mind to possibilities, so that when the unexpected desire of a kid is requested we find ourselves open and ready for that challenge. This openness take indeed tremendous internal fighting to that resistance that wants to keeps us in the old track, especially for a NEW BEE just like me.
To be totally honest with you i am a new bee and have been nervous ever since i added my name on this list, and to see this kind of useless bickering over nothing discourages me in continuing this challenge, as it destroys the original purpose of this game.
Why are we doing this then? to proof who is faster and better?

Dear Creabella please take my name off this list, and if it is ok with everybody i would like to ask the honor to choose the next subject for Thouartbeautiful. A "hippo face". If this is not agreeable with everybody then please just continue on without me.

Please don't leave the game! It is a game. Do not let discouraging remarks from someone ever to upset your balance in life, in any facet of this game called life.

I know we were all just trying to keep the game moving so as not to wait around for each post. I think 2 days is ample time, like the original rules. And if not possible, as life throws all of us curveballs, to just pass on your tag and add your name again.

Please challenge yourself and paint your tag! It will be fun! You did nothing wrong. Stay on with the game and widen your horizons .

and it was not I that had fallen down. it was my two year old, who ended up with blood all over her - bloody nose. I'm a first time parent - so initially, i FREAK OUT!!!! My daughter comes FIRST, and definitely BEFORE face painting should!

PaolaSunglow - I've mentioned on this thread before, that I am in school = just because I log-in quickly, does not mean I HAVE the time to do anything...I checked in quickly to see that I had a message, 5 minutes before my class started. I didn't have time to paint anything - i don't bring my paints to school with me...however, it would be amazing if I could....I might make straight A's!

I just know previously (yes, i've only once before had a time that i posted very late.) I am not a stay at home mom, nor do i have all the time in the world to paint. I work, I go to school full time, and study...if I put this face paint forum ahead of any mentioned, I would lose my job, and fail in school - neither of which I want to do.

Sorry that you took as though I was pointing fingers...but I just know a couple weeks back, one or two, as I will call them senior members - as they've been members on here for some time didn't post immediately, and they weren't hasselled about it.

I would have loved to see your version of Midnight Bowling...possibly a glow in the dark design.

I don't want anyone to leave, or feel bad in this thread... It is just a game indeed, and offcourse our Kids come first, and we all have our busy moments....
