New Years Resolution!

Hey guys!


Thought that I would be the first to make my New Year resolution... I'm gonna get healthy and lose some weight!

This is really important to me, and with the addition of a treadmill to my household, I'm really excited to get started.

I've also joined in on the ShayLoss challenge on Youtube! If you don't watch Shay Carl or any of his vids, then you should know that he is really funny and is also trying to lose weight. I feel like I have a workout buddy, if only virtually.

I'm on the weight loss train, too, haha. I go to a weekly dance class already, but am planning on buying (read: I WILL!) a membership to - no judging, guys! - a pole dance studio, that also does cardio classes. I took some pole dance classes a while ago, and it's amazing how much strength it takes to do those moves! I was in a car accident a couple of years ago and had to stop, but I want to start those up again, and take their cardio dance/ball fit classes too.

I want to have a working fp/balloon website up and running, and add on FAQ's, printable invites and package option info to the galleries. I want to make time to enter every contest on FPF! and to continue adding new designs (face painting and/or balloons) to my displays at least every month or two.

Also, I want to get my taxes done by the end of January, and I REALLY want to keep my work space neat...or at least as far away from utter chaos as possible!

And must stop buying junk food/wrapping paper/scrap booking supplies just because it's on sale

Well, the current plan is to get a little brain surgery in the beginning of the year (programmable VP shunt)... not scheduled yet but I see a neurosurgeon Jan 19th. So, I'm hoping to not have a headache next year!

If it works and everything goes well, I fully intend to enjoy every minute of life and not waste another moment. I want to hang out and do more things with the kids. I want to exercise (can't now). I want to pursue painting more and promoting the facepainting busines. And make some more puppets.

I want to enter more contests, and learn more about being a small business owner. And go to FABIAC. I'll buy a puppet pattern and make a proper muppet. Maybe a facepainted muppet.

And if I feel better, I may clean my house and do some laundry. Maybe.

Great topic! I think I will also start a 2010 goal topic and we can post and then check off what we have completed throughout the year.

My two resolutions are this:

1. To do more cleaning up as a go instead of messing up and then going back and cleaning. I think this will save me loads of times.

2. To working on loving myself more and worrying less about what everyone else thinks. If I love myself more, I will be able to love others more.
