Sharing my fun news!

I'm all excited...got a great new, steady customer. A few weeks ago, the Hudson Valley Renegades professional baseball team called me as a last minute thing to face paint at their big stadium (upstate NY). I wasn't really prepared with boards that day, but all went well. They had wanted red/white/blue designs. They called me back again for a special event last night. They only gave me 3 hrs. notice (well really, they emailed first thing in the morning, but I never saw it). At first I said no, too little notice, but 3 more people called me, begging to come..that it was a special event where kids wear their Halloween costumes in July. So after the third call, I finally gave in and rushed over. They were thrilled I came through with such short notice and apologized, then stopped by my table to thank me again, saying I "saved them". Last night I brought my boards with 50 faces and the kids and their parents were all thrilled with the faces. Also, they let me put out a tip jar this time and I did very well, since the painting was free to the attendees (the baseball team paid me well). This morning I received a real nice email thanking me and telling me I'm the new Renegades face painter, that "all the kids were talking about the face painting around the stadium"!!!!!!! Also, at all the breaks, they advertise me on the big board!!!! It's fun there plus free advertising, plus I love that a lot of the games are weekdays too. They don't have a face painter at every game, just their "special events" but that's OK, happy anyway!!!! Also, a few people are calling me for parties from it!

I am too happy to be jealous! that is sooooooooooooooooo awesome! of course we know how great your designs are, but to have a whole stadium of kids agreeing! WOW! AND REPEAT BUSINESS, PLUS GOOD EXPOSURE! very very good news to here, thanks for sharing!it gives me hope!
