Empty paint containers? Anyone interested?
I'm putting this here instead of the swap shop simply because I don't currently have anything to swap. Trying to find out if there would be an interest in blanks. I've been building molds and creating props for costumes long before doing face paint so I thought I might construct "THE PERFECT RAINBOW CAKE CONTAINER", mold it, then make shatter proof lightweight copies to sell. I ordered the TAG big rainbow cakes and noticed they're still not the exact size of my sponges. Just like 1/8" or so, no big deal. But curious if there would be an interest in blank containers. Let me know what you think.

I would like them, especially if they are square and not too deep. Can't seem to find something like that anywhere.

I'd love to see what you come up with. What material do plan to mold them from?

I'd like them... That 1/8" drives me nuts! (yes I know I'm anal). Also I'd like one stroke containers the same size as tag.
Re: Empty paint containers? Anyone interested?
I'd probably make them same depth as the TAG containers but make them tiny bit wider. I'd make the skinny one stroke containers as well. Probably two sizes of those, one to match small flat brushes used on younger kids then one for larger brushes used on teens and adults. Because I see designs using split cakes and think "wow that's awesome, but you wouldn't be able to get all the colors of that cake onto a smaller brush". Anyone else have that thought? Or maybe you guys load large brush all the time and just angle it when used on smaller kids? Just toss me some feedback.

I agree. I have those smaller square split cakes. I think the Arty Cake ones from SF. I use a 3/4 flat and only can pick up 2/3s of the cake. No way can I get all of the colors on that brush. Lookin into getting a 1".

I recently made a bunch of my own one-strokes, but I didn't fill them all up to the full width. Some are only 1/2 inch wide or so. I like those for the smaller brushes.
