I'm mainly a face painter and balloon modelling is always an add on to face painting for birthday parties. I'm used to twisting for around 15 kids at a time.

I accepted a summer camp job teaching 4 groups of 25 kids - 100 kids in 2 hours - how to balloon twist a hat and a dog. The teaching part went well and everyone had a fun time.

However, the preparation has left me wrecked.Sad    I pumped around 130 balloons by hand. This morning my shoulders are really aching, my fingers are sore and I have a birthday party this afternoon WITH BALLOON TWISTING.Laughing

What have I started Question

Oh Gisrus, you need an electric pump...you'll be glad. Or 15 hand pumps paid for as "supplies" by the camp & they pump their own...

I got a back up pump to my majiloon (out of production at the moment) through a forum link here last year for around $125 & it works great. Saw it on ebay for $150. currently. (It's the one that comes in a fanny pack.)

Hope that helps!

That price sounds great Anniel. I looked up magiloon online the very next day and the cheapest price I saw was $400. Way out of  my price range.

Maybe 15 pumps is the way to go.Very Happy

Majiloon isn't being made at the moment--but it is well worth the price if it ever becomes available again. (I just hate trusting mine to an offspring...it's almost as dear to me as they are, but they didn't pay for it!
