The little mini documentary....
So here it is.... I have to say, the reporter did a terrific job editing it all together into a cohesive little piece. I hate how all I see is my double chin in the park sequence....but it's not so bad in the sit down interview part.
The article has a few little errors in it - or should I say misquotes - but all in all I think it's pretty good... She highlights me using a little homemade cake I made with an old Arty Cake container while talking about FDA compliant paints and I'm not sure, but I think that cake has neon purple in it!!! I can't check for certain at the moment because my entire set-up is packed in the van ready to take to tomorrow's first of four consecutive week long county fairs....God help me.... Also, I haven't been doing this for seven years (professionally, only two - but I first dabbled in it back in 2006).... but I guess that's a misquote in my favor....

Great Job Miss Ronnie,
You totally Rocked it! You are such a doll!

Very cool! Gosh, I know we can be so hard on ourselves, and I know it's humbling to see yourself on camera, but I know that when I see a friendly, smiling person, I really don't notice things like double chins! ) (And hey, I've been known to sport a double chin at the wrong angle, too. Hehe.)
Your video makes me think of a "how to" video I watched on youtube supposedly showing how to set up a face painting booth. The kicker was the huge container of LARGE, METAL craft glitter shown in the kit. Like you said, "RUUUUUUN the other way!" Thanks, but no thanks, HowCast. Oye.

Great schowing!
But I, as a newbie, ( and still not doing paid gigs yet) wonder, how many brushes and sponges do you have?
I mean, if you do a gig with an expectation of let's say 50-100 Kids to paint, do you have that many brushes and sponges that you can use a New set for each child?????
I can hardly imagine! How do you do that?

You look fabulouso ( yes its a word, means better than fabulous lol) . Well done, you look so calm and natural too. I would be stammering and stuttering all over the place , something strange happens when a camera is pointed at me.

Re: The little mini documentary....
Thank you all for your kind remarks. Perhaps I'll reconsider and not order that chin strap you put on at night - lol!!
Creabella, I do have A TON of sponges - over 300. I don't throw them away, but rather take them home and wash them. I also don't dispose of my brushes - I just clean & sanitize them. There are a few errors in her facts but they seem insignificant. She also writes that I've been in business since 2006.... not true. I told her that was the year I first took up face painting - cheek art only, but I only started doing the big stuff once I learned there was more out there than a round 16 color Snazaroo palette... which was about 2 1/2 years ago.
