Just chatting.... About facepainting...
This week we had a special week at work. Because this week is the last week for the Kids to go to school. Also our entire team is leaving as well, in the next few weeks (because some of us are fired, and others have quit their job themselves). This week is thus also the last week that we, as a team work together.
So, therefore we are having a big "saying goodbye" party-week.
During this week I have been painting the children, who wanted to be painted.
It was so much fun!!! And a great way to practise painting fast!
I did do this 3 days, each day for about two hours. In those days I think I have painted at least 60 kids maybe (about 20 a day ) so that is a new personal record for me
And the first two days I even didn't use examples.
But one mistake anyway...... The first day I used the paint (grimas) and brushes we have at work.... But that didn't work well for me. I don't like the paint much and the brushes were a Total disaster!!!!!! So worn out.
So the other two days I brought my own gear. And that was so much better.
I also had a first go at doing vampires, Iron Man and Skylanders(?).
Especially with Skylanders I had no idea what that is, and the boy who wanted it, descriped to me how to paint his face.
So, it was an awesome experience.

Sad about your job finishing, but at least you got some happy memories from the last few days! I don't think I would do well using paints I was not used to either.

Yeah, and the brushes were even worse, ready for the garbage can !
Anyway, I really liked doing it anyway.
I even kept painting at home!

I think so too Ronnie.
I saw the design made by somebody on the Facebook page of One stroke painting, and people copying it. And I couldn't resist to do so as well.
I wish I could be that creative myself.
But that time might come when I am more skilled. :-D
