Hello! I'm Sarah K Reece from South Australia

I'm a part time student in a bachelor of visual art, and I've been working hard on setting up my face & body painting business over the past 8 months.  I'm about to graduate from a Cert 3 in Microbusiness Operations for people with a disability (basically how to run a small home business such as this one). I'm thrilled to have an opportunity to make money from my art and hone my brush skills! I also particularly love to sculpt, paint with oils, acrylics, inks, and fabric paint. Here I am with my opera glove, which I 'submitted' for a concept development class at college.

I started with Derivan but now use mainly TAG, and make my own split cakes. I've been getting work at the local zoos, and I'm just branching into UV paints and hope to start working in a couple of local clubs. I like painting adults as much as kids and have done some wonderful adult birthday parties. I love to invent custom designs when events are not too busy.  I'm booked in to a temporary tattoo inks painting workshop soon and desperately looking forward to it! There's always so much to learn! 

I'm not the complete beginner I was, but I'm a long way from expert and I've found this forum very helpful so I thought it was time to say hello.

There are other, older TAG! You're It threads if you want to look at some of the art work.  It is meant to be a fun exercise to kind of emulate the odd requests we get on the job. I was once asked to paint a Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich at an event.  

To search for a topic, use your own search engine, as the above search function is very specific in wording.  Type in facepaintforum tag you're it 
into your own search engine and you should be able to find other threads. You can do this with different topics, like best brushes, or Australian face painters, etc.
