glitter on face paint

when do you apply your glitter to face paint? what way seems to work the best?

I use the glitter wand from the FacePaintForumShop.

I flutter it on when the paint is still wet.  If it dries, I spritz a tiny bit of water on it, then flutter the glitter on.  It sticks great!
What is this magic wand you speak of wise Fessy?

it depends if you want the whole face to be glittery, or just a certain area.
If we're talking about the whole face, i sprinkle glitter when the design is finished, using a fan brush that I tap lightly.
If I want certain areas, I wet my fan brush or round brush, dip it in the glitter and apply where needed.

For glitterlips though, I put glitter on immediately, when the paint is still very wet.

thanks... I found I had to do a light spray cause I am still so new that by the time I finish the design is all dry... but it looked great when done though

I have little jars for my glitter and I dip my fingertip in the jar and dab it onto the paint while still wet.  If I'm painting in a really dry area or windy and the paint dries fast, I'll put the glitter on the main color areas before I finish off with the outlines.  I'd love to see how a glitter wand works!  And how specifically does one "flutter on" glitter?  I have also heard of people dipping the end of their brush handle in glitter and then rolling it over the design.  Gotta give some of these techniques a try myself...I'm so set in my ways! ;-)

I either use a lollipop and apply to wet paint, or I'll use a puffer at the end
