Re: Another option for a Kit Case.
Please let us know, that is a professional make up artist case, we all wanted the reason we don't get it is cause we think it won't survive going to grass and dirt on festivals and hard use and abuse.

The link is a dead end for me, but I use a rolling scrapbook case much like LisaJoyYoung's and I love it.
When I have professional Makeup work I use my far more expensive Zuca Backpack which I would never use for facepainting because it would get gross and be very difficult to clean...

let us know if you get it. I like the idea of drawers to store my EXTRA needs. i have a zebra roll on suitcase/makeup table. this would be nice for all the extras i need... or think i need...

Those make-up cases usually can't handle the cross country drags, weather, spills, etc. They are pretty much made for indoor use and can't take rough handling.

Re: Another option for a Kit Case.
I got this one. and love it! I am not rough with my stuff.. and it seems pretty sturdy to me!!! I will see this week end how all will be set up....
Re: Another option for a Kit Case.
I got the one a year ago like this from sillyfarm. It was nice at first but the last couple if months it has become a pain. I yell at it now lol. When I pick up the luggage at the handle on the top to put in my car, it comes unlatched. I noticed that the latch is loose. Also, the wheels are close together so it flips easy when roling it. All I have used it for is 2 mini events and practice. I already have a fatmax for all my other paint for murals. I'm thinking about putting my face paints into that one or just get a new one all together. Either way I need to buy more face paints to fill it up lol.

Here is what i did with the fatmax..iti is great too...everything i see is great....i want it all!!!

Suggestions for a waterproof case? I recently had a gig where the wind was nuts and caused it to rain sideways under the HUGE 12x12 tent that State Farm Insurance had set up for me. I'd love to have something that I had swing out trays or something where I could leave my paints and brushes sitting, then shut them up real quick if storm came up. It had been cloudy all day, but the rain just came down without warning... and by the gallon all around me lol.
And I agree with Shannon Fennel... I need something with larger wheels. I'm using a large 42 can upright cooler right now that has small wheels. Its fabric with plastic guts that hold the shape. Not happy with it, but its got tons of pockets and was only $30 at Walmart... so it will do until I find something nicer

Re: Another option for a Kit Case.
I would say the fatmax would do that. it is a tool box! You pretty much have a warning of some kind about rain. you have to react to it in a reasonable time... and not like someof us...and think i can get this done before it hits. or... think it will wait till you are done with what ever you are doing...lol.. but usually there is SOME warning about rain before it gets to you!
Re: Another option for a Kit Case.
My facepainting kit used to be in a professional make-up trolley, but it was getting too heavy, and I kept putting more stuff in it, and never taking out what I didn't use.... so after 8 years the wheels broke off (and trust me, that trolley has seen quite a few fields, rocky roads, etc... ) and I decided to re-invent my facepainting setup.
Put almost all my paints in Mehron Pallettes (4 pallettes, and I still have too much paint... addict? me???), reorganized the hell out of it all, and everything fits in a handluggage trolley. It's more compact, lighter, and just really easy to carry/roll back and forth all over the place.
I love it!
