New Face Painter from CT

Hello! My name is Desiree and I am just learning how to face paint. I just got a couple of paints and brushes and books in. Trying to get my two boys to sit still long enough to practice on but using my arm and legs while they are in school lol. I will also have to steal my little cousin so I can practice some girl designs since my kids will definitely not go for that!
I am a stilt-walker and balloon artist and have experience with calligraphy and cake decorating. If anybody is interested in any of that I have a facebook page under "Dezired Gifts"
I would love to eventually get gigs as a face painter since there seems to be a lack of them in my area and whenever I get hired as a balloon artist, the next questions is always: "Do you face paint too?" so I figured what the heck.
